Written Answers. - Westmeath Estates.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will state when it is intended to divide the estate of Mr. I.H. Langan, Kilwarden, Kinnegad, amongst the congested tenants of that district.

The Land Commission are having inquiry made regarding the lands of Kilwarden which are set out in the Schedules of Particulars lodged by the owner in connection with the sale of his estate under the Land Act, 1923.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will state when it is intended to divide the lands of Ballinlough and Heathstown, Clonmellon, Co. Westmeath, amongst the congested tenants of that district.

Schemes for the division of the lands of Heathstown, Cloven and Dervotstown, comprising 780 acres on the estate of Captain R.S. Dyas, and for the lands of Ballinlough, comprising 434 acres on the estate of Mrs. Anna M. Nugent, have been prepared and are at present under consideration. It is anticipated that the schemes will be put into operation at an early date.
