asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state (a) what was the total amount of motor licence duties, etc., collected during the year 1929; (b) what was the total amount to the credit of the Road Fund at the end of that year; (c) how much of this amount had been allocated to local authorities; and (d) what was the amount still to be repaid to the Central Fund in respect of the loan of £2,000,000 granted in 1926.

The figures in respect of the year 1929 are as follows:—
(a) £772,702.
(b) £10,021.
(c) The liabilities on foot of grants at 31st December, 1929, amounted to £501,057.
(d) £640,000 is due to the Central Fund under the Road Fund (Advances) Act, 1926.
