The Commissioners of Public Works received a petition under the Arterial Drainage Act, 1925, for the drainage of Copponey Lake, but on investigation the scheme proved to be very uneconomic, and also to be too small to warrant the application of the Act of 1925. It is accordingly proposed to reject the petition.
