Vol. 34 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Williams Estate (Co. Kerry).

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries whether he will state the cause of the delay in vesting the Williams Estate, Cahireiveen, County Kerry.

The report of the Land Commission Surveyor relative to the estate of F.G. Williams has been received and the queries arising thereon have been communicated to the owner's solicitors. When these queries have been discharged the provisional list of the lands to be vested in the Land Commission on the Appointed Day will be published.

Mr. O'Reilly

Is the Parliamentary Secretary aware that on 23rd November, 1927, this estate was eighth on the list to be vested? Over 600 estates have been vested since. I wonder what was the cause of the delay?

The list has not been published yet. As a matter of fact, a number of queries was submitted to the owner's solicitors in January, 1929, to which they have not replied.
