asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state the return of yarns (cloth and worsted) into the Free State over the period beginning with the date on which the tariff on woollens became operative up to March 31st, 1930 (or latest date for which returns are available).

During the twelve months March, 1929, to February, 1930, the latest month for which statistics are available, the imports of woollen and worsted yarns into the Irish Free State were:
