asked the Minister for Finance whether his Department have received an application from James Taylor, Lavally, Tuam, for one pound subscribed to the Dáil Loan, 1919-20; and, if so, whether he will state when a certificate will be issued to him.

An application for repayment in respect of a sum of £1 stated to have been subscribed by him to the Dáil Éireann Internal Loan has been received from Mr. James Taylor, of Lavally, Tuam. There is no record in my Department of a subscription to this Loan by Mr. Taylor, nor has he furnished any evidence in support of his application.
