The preparation of regulations in accordance with the provisions of Section 50 (2) of the Vocational Education Act, under which vocational education committees may obtain loans for works of a per-may obtain loans for works of a permanent character from the Commissioners of Public Works, is proceeding without any undue delay or difficulty. These regulations cannot come into operation before the beginning of the next financial year, and every effort will be made to have them available by 1st April next.
