The form in which the records in my Department are kept is such that the preparation of the information regarding the number and total amount of the subscriptions to the Dáil Eireann (Internal) Loan 1919-20, received and repaid in the Youghal urban and rural districts would entail an amount of labour on the part of the staff concerned which would not, in my opinion, be justified. With regard to the latter part of the question, the claim of every subscriber who applied in writing to my Department within the prescribed period will be dealt with, with as little delay as possible.
