asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries whether he will state what progress has been made by the Irish Land Commission in acquiring the lands known as the Cullaun Farm, Bekan, Claremorris district, Co. Mayo, and at present in the possession of Mrs. French at the above address; whether he will state also when those lands will be available for the relief of the very acute congestion existing in the area.

The lands of Cullaun, containing 248a. 2r. 2p. have been gazetted under the provisions of the Land Act, 1923, with a view to their acquisition, but at the present stage of the proceedings the Land Commission are not in a position to state when they will be available for distribution.
