asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will furnish a return giving separately, for each county in the Saorstát (1) the amount of money spent during the past seven years out of public funds by the Irish Land Commission in improvement of estates, and stating in each case the proportion given in free grants, and the proportion to be repaid by the tenants; (2) the amount received in respect of the letting of lands for grazing, meadowing, etc.; and stating how much was spent in the same county; (3) the total amount given by way of free grant (if any), and the amount given by way of loan for stocking, etc., of divided lands, and the terms of such loans.
