The approximate net revenue received during the financial year 1930-31, under the heads named, was as follows:—(a) Duty on bets at 2½ per cent., £49,570; (b) duty on bets at 5 per cent., £151,600; (c) totalisator fees, £2,670; bookmakers' licence duty, £5,060; (e) registered bookmaking premises duty, £11,120. No other betting revenue was received during the year.
