Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Sale of Easter Lilies.

asked the Minister for Justice whether an order has been made making it an offence to sell Easter lilies in Saorstát Eireann; and, if so, if he will state the date of issue and nature of the order, and the number of arrests, prosecutions and convictions, with the areas in which they occurred, since that date.

It is an offence to make any street collection in Saorstát Eireann unless a permit has been granted under the regulations governing collections in streets or public places made on the 15th July, 1930. No person was arrested for a breach of the regulations. Particulars of cases dealt with by summons are as follows:—
