asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries whether the estate known as the Moore Estate, Killavalley, Westport, Co. Mayo, was purchased under the 1909 Land Act twenty-two years ago; whether it is still held by tenants under the rundale system, and when it is proposed to rearrange the holdings and vest them in the occupiers.

The Deputy appears to refer to portion of the estate of C. A. Moore, for the purchase of which the late Congested Districts Board had been in negotiation but which was not vested in the Land Commission until the 8th May, 1924. A scheme for the rearrangement of the holdings on the estate is in course of preparation and will be completed as soon as possible.
