Vol. 43 No. 4

Order of Business.

The business of the day will be taken as on the Order Paper. We propose to take first the introductory speech on the Second Reading of the Housing (Financial and Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill, 1932. It is proposed that Public Business be not interrupted.

Is there an understanding that the Finance Bill, Committee Stage, will be completed by 2 o'clock?

I am not quite sure if an understanding has been reached in that connection, but the position is that after the introductory speech on the Housing Bill the Committee Stage of the Finance Bill will be resumed.

The Parliamentary Secretary is not here at the moment, and I do not know if agreement has been reached on the point mentioned by the Deputy.
