Plans, specification and estimate of cost of the proposed Portlaoighise sewerage scheme were received in my Department about a week ago. Examination of the plans has not yet been completed. The allocation of a grant in aid of the work would rest with the Minister for Finance. I cannot at present say what grant can be recommended.
