Vol. 52 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Road Obstruction (Enniscorthy).

asked the Minister for Justice if he will state whether the person who maliciously obstructed a main road in the neighbourhood of Enniscorthy with felled trees on the night of the 28th-29th April and cut the telephone wires between Enniscorthy and Ferns, have yet been identified and charged with the offence; and, if so, if he will state how many persons have been charged.

I have nothing to add to the reply which I gave to a question upon the same matter asked by the Deputy last week.

Is the Minister aware that more than three weeks have passed since those incidents took place? Telephone wires were cut, roads were obstructed by trees and no one has been identified in connection with these occurrences and no one has been charged.

Under the previous Administration it often happened that three years elapsed without anything being done.
