While I desire to make it clear that I am not prepared to answer questions about the affairs of individual firms except in so far as statutory provision may be made for the publication of information, I am ready in this case to say that the company referred to has not received any direct financial assistance from my Department.
Arising out of the Minister's answer, might I suggest that if any application for a grant or loan is received by this firm that he should inquire into the rates of wages paid by them?
