asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he is aware (a) that Patrick Merrick, Ayle, Oola, County Tipperary, made an application for unemployment assistance in March, 1934; that he was informed eight months later that his claim had been disallowed; that he appealed against this decision, and has not been informed to date whether his appeal has been decided, and (b) if he will take such action as is necessary to expedite a decision in this case.

For the reasons stated in reply to a number of questions addressed to me by Deputy Curran on the 12th December last, I cannot for the present and some time to come see my way to reply to questions regarding individual applications for unemployment assistance.
