asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state whether any licences issued in respect of the first quota period for the import of mechanically propelled bicycles to which the Control of Imports (Quota No. 18) Order, 1935, refers, were issued subject to any condition as to (1) the country in which the articles were manufactured or produced; (2) the country from which the goods were consigned to the importer, or (3) the route by which the goods should be imported to Saorstát Eireann; and, if so, if he will state the total quantity and value of the articles to which any such conditions applied and their percentage of the total quota; and the different countries or routes in favour of which the conditions were imposed; and if he will state the reasons for the imposition of such conditions.
