In view of the unsatisfactory reply to my question, No. 2, I beg to give notice that I shall raise the matter on the adjournment.
Questions on Adjournment.
Deputy Dillon has given notice of his desire to raise on the adjournment matters arising out of the reply to question 4. Questions may be put to Ministers only in respect of matters for which they are responsible. The Chair is not quite clear as to the extent of the Minister's responsibility in respect of the matters referred to in Deputy Dillon's question. The Deputy will be notified of the decision of the Chair in due time. In the event of the Chair being satisfied as to the Minister's responsibility, Deputy Dillon will have priority, as he has given prior notice. However, both Deputies will be informed of the position.
