Mr. Norton

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state the number of persons normally employed in the building trades who were registered as being unemployed at each employment exchange and branch employment office on the first Monday in January, April, July and October in 1934 and on the corresponding dates in 1935.

Mr. Lemass

A return showing the number of persons normally employed in the building trades who were on the live register in each local employment office on the first Monday in each of the months of January, April, July and October, 1934, and on the corresponding dates in 1935 will be circulated with the Official Report.
