The total expenditure incurred in respect of the Commission of Inquiry referred to in the question was £300 15s. Od., made up as follows:—gratuity to secretary, £40; travelling expenses and subsistence allowances, £230 19s. 6d.; advertising, £13 16s. 1d.; printing and publishing report, £12 18s. 10d.; stationery supplies, £2 14s. 7d.; incidentals, 6/-.
