As stated in my reply to the Deputy's question on this subject on the 24th ultimo, the statistics for the year 1935 have not yet been collected. The enumeration forms part of the enquiry carried out each year by the members of the Garda Síochána, acting as enumerators of the Agricultural Statistics, who call at each farm in the months of June and July. The summaries of the returns for the year 1935 will not, therefore, be ready before the autumn of the present year.
Do I understand that they will not be collected until the June enumeration of this year?
