The total amount of rates collected in the year ended March 31st, 1935, was £5,150,789. Corresponding information for the financial year ended on the 31st ultimo will not be available for some time. As regards the latter part of the question, particulars of assessments by all local authorities are not compiled in the Department. The information he requires will be collected and sent to the Deputy.
