Vol. 61 No. 14

Vote 60—Marine Service.

I move:

Go ndeontar suim ná raghaidh thar £5,532 chun slánuithe na suime is gá chun íoctha an Mhuirir a thiocfaidh chun bheith inioctha i rith na bliana dar críoch an 31adh lá de Mhárta, 1937, chun Tuarastail agus Costaisí na Muir-Sheirbhíse (Achtanna Loingis Cheannaíochta, 1894 go 1933, agus an tAcht Imeall Trágha, 1933 (Uimh. 12 de 1933)).

That a sum not exceeding £5,532 be granted to complete the sum necessary to defray the Charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1937, for the salaries and expenses of the Marine Service (Merchant Shipping Acts, 1894-1933, and the Foreshore Act, 1933 (No. 12 of 1933)).

This is also one of the minor services in my Department. There is no change worthy of comment this year. There is an automatic increase in the amount of salaries, wages and allowances and increased expenditure is contemplated in connection with the provision of a coast communication telephone service.

Vote put and agreed to.
