Vol. 62 No. 14

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take items 2 to 4 inclusive as on the Order Paper, business to be interrupted from 6.30 to 7.30, when item No. 4 will be taken. The Dáil will resume on No. 3 at 7.30.

Am I to understand that the only business to be taken between 6.30 and 7.30 is the Report Stage of the Flax Bill, or whether it is intended that during that hour the Report Stage of the Labourers Bill is also to be taken? If the only business be the Flax Bill, what happens if the discussion on it collapses before 7.30?

The House will go back to the Insurance Bill.

That may mean that the Minister for Industry and Commerce will have to hurry back from his chop.

May I ask the Vice-President what is the position with regard to the Nurses' and Midwives' Pensions Bill, 1935, which was passed in the Seanad, and printed on 27th November, 1935? When is it likely to make its appearance in the Dáil, and will the Vice-President say if he has any views on the matter?

I have no views on it.
