Vol. 63 No. 18

Ceisteanna.—Questions. Oral Answers. - United Society Agents.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether he is aware that many insured persons residing in the district covered by the agent of the United Society stationed at Delgany, County Wicklow, are living more than 12 miles away from, Delgany; whether he is aware that in many instances insured persons are exposed to great hardship in cases of illness because of the inaccessibility of the agent, and whether he is prepared to take such action as may be necessary to secure that agents of the United Society will be appointed in outlying districts within easy reach of the insured persons.

The arrangement of agency districts is a matter for the Committee of Management of Cumann an Arachais Náisiunta ar Shláinte, to whom all representations on such matters should be addressed.
