asked the Minister for Finance whether he has received representations from the Monaghan County Council to the effect that any sums which may be awarded in respect of malicious injury claims consequent on the burning of the Customs huts on the Border should not be a charge on the revenues of Monaghan County Council; and, if so, whether he will introduce an estimate into Dáil Eireann to meet these charges out of the Exchequer.
