Written Answers. - Untenanted County Dublin Lands.

asked the Minister for Lands if the Land Commission will acquire and divide amongst uneconomic holders and landless men the untenanted and non-residential lands of Arthur Mullen, Adamstown (Knocklyon), containing 230 acres.

The lands in question appear to comprise the holdings of Arthur Mullen and George Mullen containing 157 acres and 111 acres respectively in the townland of Adamstown, on the estate of Baron Langford. The Land Commission instituted proceedings for the resumption of these holdings and applied to the Judicial Commissioner for an order authorising their resumption. This application was refused by the Judicial Commissioner in May, 1932.

asked the Minister for Lands if the Land Commission will take steps to acquire and divide amongst uneconomic holders and landless men the untenanted and non-residential farm known as Rooney's, Hazardstown, Naul, County Dublin, containing over 250 acres.

The Land Commission have directed that enquiries be made to ascertain the suitability for their purposes of the holding of Edward Rooney at Hazardstown, Naul, County Dublin.
