asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware that an estate at Carrigavisteal, Moher, County Tipperary, formerly owned by James Phelan, Lisfunction, Burncourt, Cahir, County Tipperary, has recently been purchased by a local farmer; and if in view of the great congestion which exists in this area he will consider the question of acquiring this estate for division.

It appears that the lands of Carrigavisteal formerly held by James Phelan are now held by Thomas O'Brien. Further inquiries are being made by the Land Commission.
