asked the Minister for Lands if he will state whether any proceedings are pending for the acquisition of the Hemmingway estate at Dunbyrne, Kilmeague, County Kildare; and, if so, whether the lands are likely to be acquired and divided.

The Land Commission had an inspection made of the lands of Dunbyrne on the Hemmingway estate and decided to institute proceedings for their acquisition. At the present stage it is not possible to state when the lands, if acquired, will be divided.
