It is proposed to take business as on the Order Paper, items Nos. 2 and 25. It is hoped that it may be possible to conclude item No. 2 by not later than 7.30. The remainder of the time will be devoted to a discussion of item No. 25.
Order of Business.
We are prepared to take a decision on the Second Stage of the Finance Bill by 7.30, and, on the other motion at 10.30, allowing the Minister half an hour to conclude on the Finance Bill and allowing us 20 minutes to conclude our motion.
Would the Tánaiste say what the arrangements are for sittings between now and Christmas? Is it intended to conclude next week or to sit the week after?
Our intention is to conclude, if possible, at the end of next week.
I take it that the Second Stage of the County Managers Bill will not be proceeded with before Christmas?
