Following is the reply:—In the period indicated Irish steam trawlers operated only from the port of Dublin. The numbers fishing from that port during the months mentioned are as follows:—

In addition a total of 215 small motor trawlers were engaged in inshore fishing from our ports at various times during the periods mentioned. Of these, two operated from the port of Dublin.
