Vol. 79 No. 16

Ceisteanna.—Questions. Oral Answers. - Return of Receivable Orders.

asked the Minister for Lands whether he has received any complaints from tenant purchasers in County Monaghan that their receivable orders have not been returned to them since the instalments due on the 1st November or the 1st December, 1939, were remitted to the Irish Land Commission; and, if so, whether he will cause inquiry to be made into the reasons for the delay.

Owing to present difficult conditions, some delay has occurred in returning receivable orders to payers, but every effort is now being made to bring matters up to date, and it is hoped to have all the outstanding receivable orders returned to payers within the next week or two.
