Vol. 80 No. 13

Supplementary Estimate. - Vote 51—National Gallery.

Resolved:
Go ndeontar suim ná raghaidh thar £2,282 chun slánuithe na suime is gá chun íoctha an Mhuirir a thiocfaidh chun bheith iníoctha i rith na bliana dar críoch an 31adh lá de Mhárta, 1941, chun Tuarastail agus Costaisí an Ghailerí Náisiúnta, maraon le Deontas-i-gCabhair.
That a sum not exceeding £2,282 be granted to complete the sum necessary to defray the Charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1941, for the Salaries and Expenses of the National Gallery, including a Grant-in-Aid. (Minister for Education.)

Before Vote 65 is taken, is it a matter of urgency that the remainder of the Estimates should be completed to-night, because another item has to be dealt with?

Two hours have been allotted for the discussion of that matter. Would one and a half hours suffice?

A limited number of matters may be raised on the Vote for the Office of the Taoiseach.

I should like to get the remainder of the Estimates to-night, if possible.

Would the Labour Deputies be satisfied with one and a half hours for the discussion of item 5?

I was not aware of the urgency and I spent more time than I should have spent on Vote 45.
