Vol. 82 No. 10

Written Answers. - Military Service Pensions.

asked the Minister for Defence if he will state whether the referee has considered additional evidence submitted by Denis Nolan, Conaberry, Ballon (Reference No. 16499/53) in his application for a military service pension under the Military Service Pensions Act, 1934, and if he will say when the applicant may expect to hear the decision.

The referee has considered the additional evidence submitted by Denis Nolan, Conaberry, Ballon, on appeal for revision of the finding of the referee on his application under the Military Service Pensions Act, 1934, but as he has not yet reported on the appeal I am not in a position to state when a decision will be notified to applicant.

asked the Minister for Defence if a decision has yet been made in the application of Thomas Fox, Palatine, Carlow (Reference No. 55318/53) for a pension under the Military Service Pensions Act, 1934, and if he will state when the applicant may expect to hear the decision.

The referee has arrived at a decision on the application of Mr. Thomas Fox, Palatine, Carlow, and has reported to me that Mr. Fox is not a person to whom the Act applies. The applicant was informed accordingly on the 29th ultimo.
