asked the Minister for Finance if he will state the name of the insurance company with which the Board of Works placed their employers' liability insurance for the year ended 31st March, 1943, the amount tendered for Section A separately, and Section B separately, and the rate per cent. on which each is based, the amount tendered for the compositive proposal, namely, Sections A and B combined; the commission (if any) allowed off the gross premium for each section, the commission allowed on the composite policy, and the basis of calculation of such commission.

The Commissioners of Public Works have placed their contract for employers' liability insurance for the year ending 31st March, 1943, with the Employers' Liability Assurance Corporation Ltd.
It is the established practice of the Commissioners of Public Works not to disclose particulars of successful tenders.
