Maximum wholesale prices for bread soda are fixed by Order for 1 cwt. lots and over. The prevailing wholesale price for 1 stone lots is from 2/3 to 2/6 and, having regard to the costs incurred by a wholesaler in repacking into stone lots, this price appears reasonable.
I take it the maximum price chargeable is 2/6 a stone?
The maximum price is fixed only in respect of 1 cwt. lots and over.
If you happen to have any quantities of less than 1 cwt., you can charge whatever is fair and reasonable?
