Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Licences and Permits.

asked the Minister for Supplies if he will state (1) the names of the various articles or class of goods for which a licence fee or permit fee is required (a) to sell wholesale, (b) to sell retail, and (c) to manufacture; (2) and if he will state in respect of each such article or class of goods (a) the amount of the annual or other fee payable in respect of such licence or permit, (b) the authority under which such fee is imposed, and (c) the date from which the fee has been imposed.

I am having a statement containing the required particulars circulated with the Official Report.

Following is the statement:—

Statement showing (1) the names of the various articles or class of goods for which a licence fee or permit fee is required (a) to sell wholesale, (b) to sell retail, and (c) to manufacture; (2) and in respect of each such article or class of goods (a) the amount of the annual or other fee payable in respect of such licence or permit, (b) the authority under which such fee is imposed, and (c) the date from which the fee has been imposed.

All the fees shown above are payable once only and are charged as directed by the Minister for Finance under Section 8 of the Emergency Powers Act, 1939.
