Contributions received by the head of the household from members of his family, whether resident at home or elsewhere, are assessed as means under Section 13 (1) of the Unemployment Assistance Act, 1933. This assessment may result in the reduction or perhaps total cancellation of the amount of unemployment assistance payable to the recipient of the income.
