Vol. 91 No. 14

Committee on Finance. - Vote 20—Miscellaneous Expenses.

I move:—

That a sum not exceeding £2,970 be granted to complete the sum necessary to defray the Charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending the 31st day of March, 1944, for certain Miscellaneous Expenses including certain Grants-in-Aid and payments of Compensation for Death or Personal Injuries.

Mr. Cosgrave

Sub-head E refers to a grant of 100 guineas for the Irish Plate at the Curragh. Having regard to the present value of money when the Government is doing something they should do the decent thing. I hope the Parliamentary Secretary will take a note of that.

Question put and agreed to.
