If what is required is the total number of children who received free milk under the scheme for the supply of milk to necessitous children administered by my Department and under the food voucher scheme administered by the Department of Industry and Commerce, and also as part of school meals in urban areas and in the Gaeltacht, I am not in a position to give the information. Under the scheme for the supply of milk to necessitous children under five years administered by my Department, the number of children who received milk during the year ended 31st March, 1943, is 48,770.
