asked the Minister for Finance if he is aware that a recent circular issued by his Department limiting wages of gangers to 9/- per day as a maximum will have the effect of reducing the wages of such gangers who have been paid for a number of years past at the rate of 10/- per day; and if he will state on what ground it is proposed to reduce such wages at present, and if he will consider the matter.
