asked the Minister for Defence if he will state when compensation will be made to Mr. R. A. Cogan, in respect of injuries received, and disability consequent on such injuries, while serving as a member of the Local Defence Force, at Fort Camden, Crosshaven, County Cork, on 23rd August, 1943.

The question of making an award of compensation to Mr. Cogan under the provisions of the Emergency Powers (Compensation for Personal Injuries) (Local Defence Force) Scheme, 1942, is under active consideration and a decision will be conveyed to Mr. Cogan as early as possible.
