The quantity of bakers flour delivered by millers in the year 1940 was 1,296,895 sacks (280 lbs.). The corresponding figures for 1943 and the nine months ending 30th September, 1944, were 1,410,875 sacks and 1,254,724 sacks, respectively. No figures are available showing the quantity of flour used by bakeries in the City of Dublin or any other area.
