The Deputy appears to be under a misapprehension. No priming allowance is granted for use in private motor vehicles operating on gas-producer plant and where petrol is found in use in any such vehicle the permit is immediately withdrawn, unless the owner is in a category for which a petrol allowance is granted irrespective of the fitting of a gas-producer plant.
