asked the Minister for External Affairs whether he is now in a position to state a definite date on which he will submit proposals to Dáil Éireann relative to the United Nations.
Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - United Nations.
The answer is in the negative.
I am not satisfied that the position is yet sufficiently clear to warrant my asking the Dáil to come to a decision in this matter.
I am convinced, moreover, that nothing will be lost by the delay.
On the last occasion that I mentioned this matter the Taoiseach said possibly in about a month's time. Does he prefer now to make the postponement indefinite?
I think it is safer. I cannot give an exact date.
