Reductions in the prices of cloth and clothing have been made by certain manufacturers and reductions are being arranged for in other cases. Wholesale and retail margins on all articles of clothing have been recently reduced but these reductions will not have their full effect till existing stocks have been cleared. It may be expected, therefore, that the prices of a wide range of articles of clothing now coming on the market will be lower than they have been.
