Vol. 99 No. 5

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take the business as on the Order Paper, Nos. 1, 4, 5 and 6, in that order.

May I inquire as to whether the Government will give time between now and next Monday to discuss the propriety of Princes of the Church being received by the Taoiseach and not by the President? Those eminent persons are not members of a foreign Government. They are Princes of the Church, and I should imagine that since we have a President it is his business to receive them.

Are we discussing it now?

The Deputy may ask the question, but he may not discuss the matter.

I want to know if an opportunity will be given to discuss it?

No. The answer is in the negative.

Well, it is a great scandal.

It is a great scandal that the Deputy is allowed to blow his head off in this House as he does.

Now, would not the Minister like to be sitting in the Chair himself?

Is the House sitting to-morrow?

Are we sitting to-morrow?

That is a relevant question.

If the business as ordered for to-day is not finished we will sit to-morrow.
