Vol. 99 No. 16

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - L.D.F. Great-coats

asked the Minister for Defence if he can give an estimate of the amount which will accrue from the sale of great-coats handed in by members of the L.D.F., and if there is any objection to the sale of, or to giving back, these garments to the users after suitable alterations have been made in them.

It would not be practicable, at this stage, to give the estimate asked for by the Deputy.

The question of allowing members of the L.D.F. 1941 to 1946 to retain their great-coats on termination of their service in that force, is being reexamined.
